My 20 month old son has a rash and no fever, do you know what it could be?
I took him to the doctors on Monday because he had blackish stools. They came out either in hard pellets or in a black pastey form. I only made appointment because my husbands insurance hotline told us too. They did some blood work (still waiting on results) and took a stool sample (also still waiting on results). He never had a high fever, although it did reach 101.4*F over the weekend. Last evening when I went to give him a bath I noticed a rash that I thought was prickly heat. He woke up in the night and it had spread across his chest and legs and looked more like welts or blisters and they itched. It was worse by morning and I took him to the doctors. I assumed it could be chicken pox, but the doc said no. He only checked his temp and in his mouth. He never examined the rash other than me showing it to him when he walked in the room. He said to wait until the test results before I give him any medication. Any idea's?

is adult ADHD real? or just a "myth" (pls read, time critical!)?
So my entire life i have been struggling with tasks. with school, i always was frustrated and never paid attention.
in my personal life relationships have been very hard, with my temper and level of frustration getting the best of me... and ive always been an "information overload" sort of person - Computer all the time. now iphone all the time. books, info.. you know the type. they call me "internet freak" at work.
Recently my inability to do anything around the house consistantly has after five years started to impact my wife and i.
i am doing things like leaving the car door open in a parking lot while i go into a store, leaving the doors unlocked and outside light on when i leave the house (ive done this repeatedly) and then got into a car accident and have to deal with that.
Taking off clothes that are dirty from working on las vegas blvd (the strip) and just leaving them in a clump where she's asked me for YEARS not to do that. not even taking a shower when i get home, just doing something else. not taking care of myself.
and the BILLS... dont get me started with my PROCRASTINATION because i am desperate about how that has effected my life.
i hit my wife in the face near her eye with a broom handle because i was rushing through cleaning a carpet and although it was an accident it was way to close to her eye and could have blinded her...
i get frustrated easilly and ALWAYS must be doing something, i find it nearly impossible to finish tasks and when my wife and i try and collaborate we always fight.
finally i started to get really depressed and started to look up suicide prevention because i was feeling so down... i have too much pain that would be caused if i were to "check out" and so i called my companies mental health insurance hotline and they scheduled me an appointment with a PHD here in town to talk to.
she suggested that perhaps i have adult ADHD. the more i look it up the more i think that possibly its NOT a myth.
but still i am really nervous about this and dont know what to think.
my appointment is TOMORROW... can someone offer some advice?
